WHALE WATCHING SEASON IS FROM DECEMBER 15TH TO MAY 15TH

The following two companies are our favorites for whalewatching tours.
One departs from Lahaina Harbor and the other from Ma'alaea Harbor. 
We realize that there are more companies here that offer this activity, 
but these two impress us the most
. 
They do not exploit the whales by following them with a "fleet" of boats and they
respect the fact that the ocean is Home to the whales. Therefore, they don't harass them
or disturb their behavior. We think these companies do the best job while
giving you informative facts. They also have naturalists as narrators.

Both of these boats have Japanese interpreters.
Snacks and beverages available for purchase onboard.
Bring photo ID for alcoholic beverage service.

 

PRINCE KUHIO - Ma'alaea Harbor

This large, stable boat can really get out there where the whales like
to chase and play! 
Expert Whale Narration and guaranteed sightings.

Departs M-W-F-Sat. at 12:30 pm and returns at 2:30 pm.
Departs Tu. and Thurs. at 2:30 pm and returns at 4:00 pm.

KAULANA - Lahaina Harbor

Spectacular whale watching on this very stable, large comfortable catamaran.

 Early Bird Trip: Departs Daily at 7:30 am - returns at 9:30 am
Late Bird Trip:  Departs Daily at 2:45 pm - returns at 4:15 pm 
Price: Adult: $21.43 / Child: $16.06

Regular Trips (2): Departs at 9:45 am - Returns at 11:45 am
Departs at 12 noon - Returns at 2:00 pm
Price:  Adult: $33.17 / Child: $13.38
One free child per Paying adult. Children under 3 are free.
